I'm so tired of hearing all this gnashing of teeth and saber-rattling about women wanting to remain childfree, especially in the US. Maybe these women don't want to send their kid off to be shot in school, live their lives in the tyranny of faceless corporate servitude, or face the fallout of global warming. I *refuse* to call it "climate change"- that just sounds too "cute."

This movement actually speaks of the seeds of critical thinking.

After all, we women are supposed to be "the more caring ones, " right? I deal with enough child abuse and PTSD in my practice - I know some of this is from an oppressive social script that people felt forced into...and then take it out on their kids...and then again in the next generation. People seeing the sick state of society and making their own choices? I don't see that as a bad thing at all.
